Audition Requirements What to prepare for your audition
Once you have registered for your audition, the PSI Team will be in touch to confirm your audition time and audition requirements.
Your Audition will take place in 2 sections, Vocal Assessment, and Interview. You will need to prepare the following:
- 2 Contrasting Pieces
- These should be two seperate songs that showcase your voice and the range you have as a vocalist
- Eg. 1 Ballad, one Uptempo
- Performance Portfolio
- Come Prepared with your Performance Portfolio printed for the Audition Panel.
- This should include: your performance history, your professional Bio, and an artistic statement.
- Interview
- This will focus on your directions and goals for your vocal career, as well as delve into your musical experience, knowledge and general education.
- We want to get to know YOU! The interview process is imperative for us to get an understanding of how we can help you achieve your goals!
